Idyllic atmosphere, very reminiscent of Italy. Excellent selection of cakes.

Great ambience, great food, beautifully designed, nice and willing staff! There is a deduction because it is very difficult to get a table there, as it is really always full.

Great old-fashioned, Tuscan-inspired coffee with a pool and a great outdoor dining area. Gladly again. Service was very poor and never brought the drinks, as well as broken broken beer bottle shards not cleared from the floor (2 hours). I found that very sad and sad at the same time. Because in itself the location is very attractive and pleasant. But still worth a visit.

If the boss of the house showed his guests a little more appreciation, nothing would be missing. He doesn't say hello and he doesn't help the staff at weddings either. And that's not a snapshot, we've seen it every time we've been there. The waiters can't keep up with the servers, our cake was on plates ready to be served for 10 minutes on the counter, which everyone leans over to choose the cake. And that during corona times. Simply impossible. Therefore only 2 stars.

Lovely place! Great good and drinks

Unique ambience. Very well organized. Breakfast of size and quality good average. Homemade jams or sausages from the butcher or rolls from the baker would be nice ..

A very cozy place. Go atmosphere. Unfortunately, however, the salad was just over the expiration date. But the worst thing was that we could sit and overhear the boss scolding the employees out in the kitchen. "What do I do with enemies when you have employees like you?" It can only give 1 star.

Never reachable by phone, waited an hour for breakfast and partially received it. Buns came only after being addressed several times. You also have to fight the wasps for food. Price performance is not right.

Am disappointed. Tried to reach someone by phone for two days - couldn't get through because the room was occupied almost non-stop or nobody answered. Wanted to reserve. Then I wrote an email that was unfortunately only answered after more than a week ... naaaajaaaaa 😏 More like going somewhere else next time ... a shame.

I'm so happy not to be the only one who keeps having negative experiences here. I can only agree with the previous speakers. No one has heard of Corona in this restaurant. No minimum distance, the mask requirement is not observed, the tables and chairs are close together. Neither name nor address are noted. In the village, the clocks probably tick a little differently ... As every time, the service is hopelessly overwhelmed. This is where savings are made in the wrong place! The ambience alone only scores points for a certain amount of time. Before we wrote this recession, we tried to contact the owners personally by email. Again, the same game as the previous speakers, we got no answer. You don't seem to need it !! Reservations have never worked. The staff reacts annoyed and unfriendly which is understandable. These are lots of young unskilled workers who want to earn a few euros on the side, who not only have to listen to the grumbling of the guests, but also the extremely unfriendly tone of the boss. He has no idea about personnel management !! No wonder that orders are repeatedly lost, the waiting times for drinks and food are disproportionately long and everything is brought to the table in a mess! We are lucky that there are so many more great locations in the beautiful Palatinate that one is not dependent on this restaurant and that we will not be guests here for the time being. We'd rather take our money somewhere else !!

It was my second time there, the cafe was wonderful, the food was great, but the service was totally overwhelmed again! We waited over half an hour for the drinks ... And so it went on! There is a lot of room for improvement. -) Staff but friendly!

We were there 2 days ago and have to say, except for the location (if you sit in the back garden - in the front in the courtyard it's nice but nothing special) this café is not really recommended. We had reserved for 10am. When you knocked on the gate at 10 o'clock you were literally pampered you had to wait outside - everything would not be ready - you could have wrestled this a little more friendly. After we were assigned a table, we were able to place our order after almost half an hour. Instead of equipping the tables one after the other with the full breakfast, everyone got the rolls first, then the orange juice, then the coffee (this was served with the hands on the edge of the coffee - VERY unprofessional and especially in the current times a complete no go) and after what felt like an eternity (Coffee was half empty - it gets cold too) then the topping for the rolls. Here you have to say: the breakfast was nicely presented and tasted, but it was nothing special, so you can get it in almost every café. The latte macchiato that was reordered was inedible. The friendliness and the service in general is below average. There won't be another visit from us. According to the reviews you can see that the café has unfortunately turned negative.

Very nice place for coffee and cake. Get a table for 2 people without any problems, if there are more people a reservation is recommended. It was full overall. Great service, friendly staff, very good cake. Card payment possible, dogs are not a problem. Prices absolutely fair.

superb place

Was here for the first time with my colleagues. I have to say that I cannot understand the many bad movements. We were really happy. The staff were very nice despite the stress and the breakfast was good. We will be back definitely. You can spend nice hours there and you have to be aware that it is not a fast food restaurant. Where there is a lot going on, the employees have a lot to do, you should understand that.

We were there a few weeks ago to have a coffee. Unfortunately the service was hopelessly overwhelmed, we were completely ignored for 20 minutes. After drawing attention to us with waving, we were finally able to place our order. Unfortunately they apparently need more than 30 minutes to make 2 coffees ... we left without the coffee reaching us. Never again!

So I ordered a table for 4 people at 5 p.m. We got a table next to the boutique. A tablecloth was freshly covered over the table very nicely. We got the cards and after a short time we ordered the drinks and the food. The atmosphere is like in the first run, there are a few more stairs down to the large garden in which there is a pool, all in all a very, very nice afternoon spent with friends, we will definitely return greetings

The moment I stumbled upon this place, it felt like I was going back in time embarking on a journey through the history of humanity to discover the first time Coffe plant was discovered in Ethiopia and Yemen imported to Istanbul Venice and the ports of Marseille rescuing finally to Paris. The enchanting scents of this place put a spell on you and tickle your taste buds until you’ve browsed the diverse collection of the big bags of coffee beans placed together like potions of magic lined up for you to try them all on a daily basis as if you’d toured the world subconsciously. The owner made the shop her home and welcomed all clients with profound warmth as if they were paying a visit to her vintage castle that makes a shelter against any sadness or mundane world stress. She roasts the coffee beans with her magical machine - shown in the photos - places them in transparent boxes and grinds them upon your request. Strongly recommend this hidden gem established in 1930.

Had a very nice time here. Food was delicious and the service great. Staff was friendly and attentive. This is a very cozy and beautiful place. We did not have a reservation, what was no problem. I would definitely recommend to make a reservation, because it can get very busy at times. From the moment we got there till we left everything was great.
